1. Mode of conduct and test duration: The test will be conducted in offline mode, so computer knowledge is not a must to sit in the exam. The test duration will be 1 and half hours. Note that no candidate will be allowed to enter or leave the exam hall once the exam has commenced. The candidate will have to enter their answers on OMR sheets; the candidate will also be given question booklets. Use only a blue or black pen to mark answers. The test will be conducted in English, Hindi and Punjabi languages.
2. Question type, number and marking scheme: The test will have 100 multiple choice questions, which have to be answered in 90 minutes. There is negative marking, so one must not depend on guesswork.

Admission criteria

The university will consider both the performance of the candidate in the PU LLB 2022
entrance exam and marks obtained in the qualifying exam to prepare the admission merit list.


The criteria for preparing the merit list is explained below.
